A cosy base for the city

Kampala is loud, generous and never still. Spend the day inside it, then close a door behind you and hear nothing at all.

Come back in the late afternoon, when the light through the green curtains turns the living room gold. Kick off your shoes, put the kettle on, and let the city settle out of you.

Cook something simple in your own kitchen, or eat on the balcony as the evening cools. Tomorrow the city will still be there. Tonight it can wait.
